| My Commitment to Clients | The cost for commencing a project varies between researchers. Personally, I do not consider that any worthwhile information can be gleaned in under eight hours, hence my minimum charge of $120.00. In some cases the initial fee may include one or two legal documents i.e. birth, death or marriage certificates and/or parish register records. This depends upon data availability for the ancestor/s who are being researched. Sometimes the entire eight hours is used up by investigating the location or status of the ancestor. In such a case I provide source citations so that my client is confident that the given information is authenticated. |
